Founded in 1954, SsangYong Motor Company, now rebranded as KGM (KG Mobility) in 2025, is a South Korean automotive innovator recognised for its rugged, technology-driven vehicles. In 2019, SsangYong engaged CV Media & Signage to elevate its brand presence across 40 Australian dealership sites and to increase customer visibility and conversions. CV Media & Signage enhanced brand impact by installing pylon signs, fascia signage, and other external branding elements in strategic, high-traffic locations to maximise exposure to passing motorists.

The Project
To further support customer engagement at the dealership level, CV Media & Signage delivered a comprehensive suite of point-of-sale signage kits, including windscreen banners, teardrop banners, number plates and freestanding pull-up banners, each designed to highlight the unique capabilities and benefits of SsangYong vehicles.
As the company entered its 2025 transition to the KGM brand, CV Media & Signage played a central role in the rebranding process. Working closely with the Network Development Manager, CV Media & Signage developed the new brand application across the Australian network. While the logo was supplied by Korea, the colours, finishes and material specifications were developed locally through sampling, consultation and detailed refinement to ensure the highest-quality outcome.
During the initial transition phase, a short-term cross-branding program was implemented. This retained the Firebird logo and the SsangYong identity while the new KGM brand gained recognition in the Australian market. The network has now fully standardised to the KGM brand, and CV Media & Signage continues to guide consistent application of the new identity across all sites.
CV Media & Signage provides a dedicated project team to maintain consistency in branding and product application nationally. CV Media & Signage is regarded as the preferred partner for the KGM network due to strong quality standards, safety performance and end-to-end project management capability. The team has completed a mixture of brand-new sites and rebrands across Australia, with many more in the pipeline for delivery over the next year.
