At CV Media & Signage, sustainability is central to our manufacturing process. We proudly implement a range of sustainable practices, including a semi-closed loop system that focuses on repurposing and recycling materials.
Our initiatives
Solar
Our efforts to reduce energy consumption are exemplified by the extensive solar system installed at our Hendra head office, currently producing 880 kWh of green energy and significantly decreasing our reliance on non-renewables.
Recycling
CV has a waste recycling program that includes steel, aluminium, copper, timber, cardboard, paper, ink and fluorescent lamps. Diversion to recycling is monitored and reported monthly against volume, tonnage and cost savings and we are consistently reaching our target of 28% (combination of weight and volume) diversion to recycling.
ISO Certification
CV recognises its responsibility to protect the environment and to ensure that we have effective procedures and processes in place to minimise the impact of our activity on the environment. Our environmental programs comply with ISO 14001:2015.
Sustainable Printing
Most recently, we have installed two state-of-the-art HP printers: the HP Latex R2000 Hybrid and the HP Latex 2700. These printers, renowned for their eco-friendly technology, use water based inks free of hazardous air pollutants, drastically reduce environmental impact compared to traditional solvent-based inks.
