South Bank Corporation is the development and management authority of Brisbane’s most iconic riverfront destination. Lined with an abundance of cafes and restaurants, Little Stanley Street and Grey Street have become an integral part of Brisbane’s modern dining landscape. With new tenancies regularly joining the precinct, South Bank Corporation’s static wayfinding signage requires constant updates. As one of Brisbane’s major tourist attractions, well designed and up-to-date wayfinding is essential for visitors to easily track down their favourite destination along South Bank.
CV Media & Signage developed a tailored digital wayfinding solution for South Bank Corporation, with communication and navigation being key features of the design. Six 46-inch double-sided LCD kiosks have been installed at key locations along the dining hub, with each map oriented to the user’s view, allowing them to easily understand what streets, landmarks, cafes and restaurants are ahead.
Secure Parking deliver user friendly parking facilities across major cities in Australia and New Zealand. Due to the large number of parking facilities, challenging traffic conditions and accessibility, Secure have implemented LED screens into a selection of their Brisbane CBD and Sydney CBD locations. Situated at the car park entrances, the screens allow for a more eye catching and engaging communication tool, beneficial for the use of Secure and surrounding businesses.
With the success of the LED screens, Secure engaged CV Media & Signage to deliver further digital signage including outdoor digital kiosks and customised APM displays. The outdoor digital kiosks provide a flexible rate board for their parking spaces along with the ability to customise content delivered to their customers on arrival. CV Media & Signage’s customised APM display provides another avenue for Secure to engage with their customers. With the ability to integrate engaging video and audio content, Secure can guide their customers through the payment process or inform them of current and upcoming promotions.
Founded in Brisbane in 1970, Amart Furniture has grown to become one of Australia’s leading furniture, bedding and outdoor retailers. CV Media & Signage were contracted by Amart Furniture to be part of their nationwide rebrand, including the beginning of in store digital integration. The media team was engaged to provide digital screens across all their stores. The digital integration involved the supply and install of 4 internal screens per store, with 2 x 84inch screens for the store layouts and 2 x 43inch screens for kid areas. The redevelopment of their overall store look provided a great opportunity to experiment with digital. Progressing through the roll out, the team has successfully delivered the screens to 30 stores, with the remaining 20 in the pipe line.
Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) is the operator of Brisbane Airport (BNE) and the surrounding precinct, with two major terminals servicing 26 airlines and flying to 67 destinations. The CV Media & Signage team have worked closely with the Brisbane Airport Corporation for several years to provide progressive and quality visual solutions. As a key partner in their journey into digital, the team has been able to develop, customise and deliver a number of solutions focusing on the airport operations and improving customer experience. These solutions include outdoor digital kiosks for their car park, video walls, interactive taxi fare calculator, digital bus stops and our customised APM display.
Australian Outdoor Sign Company (AOSCo) was founded in 2018 to provide maximum exposure for advertisers on a premium digital billboard in strategic high impact locations. CV Media & Signage were engaged by AOSCo to design, engineer, manufacture and install the next digital billboard for their network. Located in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane, the 7-metre-wide and 12-metre-tall digital billboard is the only one of its kind in the area with an average of 57,000 vehicles travelling on the road each day. The P6 LED screen within the billboard is 6-metre-wide and 8-metre high providing high resolution, fantastic exposure for brands.
Servicing Queensland and northern NSW families Queensland Children’s Hospital is the major specialist children’s hospital providing care to the our sickest and most critically injured children requiring highly specialised care. CV Media & Signage supplied and installed over 25 digital screens which seamlessly integrated into the hospital environment. With built in media players and a cloud based content management system, the healthcare digital signage solution allows the hospital to coordinate and control their own messages. All changes and updates can be made in real time, allowing for flexibility and accessibility across all the screens within the hospital. The digital screens are utilised to provide important information touch points and wayfinding. Catering to different spaces and different screen sizes, the team set up a four-screen video wall through a main transiting area, ensuring maximum impact and engagement within the thoroughfare.
Brisbane City Council regulates vehicle parking in Brisbane and operates two car parks in the CBD; King George Square and Wickham Terrace. CV Media & Signage were engaged by Brisbane City Council to digitally transform the King George Square car park with two outdoor LED displays, variable rate boards and a digital screen for the carpark foyer. The content can be both proactive and reactive for the city environment, with traffic and parking conditions consistently changing. The LED allows for highlighting cheaper rates in slower periods or up to date space availability in busier periods.
