In 2020, Komatsu announced the development of a new Distribution Centre in Wacol, QLD, adjacent to their Queensland head office. Spanning 17,000m², this facility was designed to improve availability, reduce turnover, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Ahead of its opening in May 2021, Komatsu engaged CV Media & Signage to provide a comprehensive external and internal signage solution focused on simplicity and accessibility.

For the facility’s exterior, CV Media & Signage delivered a variety of prominent signage, including fascia signage and four double-sided 9m pylons strategically placed for maximum visibility. Due to their impressive scale, these pylons can be seen from up to 500 metres, ensuring strong brand presence and guiding visitors to the centre.

Inside the facility, CV Media & Signage installed essential statutory and directional signage, helping employees and visitors navigate the space with ease. Braille signs were also included to ensure accessibility for visually impaired individuals, aligning with Komatsu’s commitment to inclusivity and efficiency.
