The Project
In recent years, SMSP has committed significant capital toward enhancing its facilities, aiming to rival the world’s top racetracks. To support these ambitious goals, CV Media & Signage partnered with PMY to deliver a transformative digital solution that elevates the race-day experience. Focusing on large-scale, impactful installations, the two companies designed digital enhancements that bring vibrancy and energy to the venue.
CV Media & Signage’s contribution included the design, manufacturing, and installation of structures that support a series of prominent freestanding LED screens positioned directly over the racetrack, with displays reaching up to 8 meters in length. Additionally, CV provided structural frameworks for extensive LED boards throughout the facility, some spanning up to 40 metres, serving both informational and advertising needs. A highlight of the project is the impressive LED super screen, held by a robust structure engineered by CV, which now commands attention and enhances the spectator experience.
These digital installations empower SMSP with flexible, real-time control over its content, allowing for seamless updates and targeted marketing. With these solutions in place, Sydney Motorsport Park is well-positioned to continue elevating its status as a top-tier racing destination.
