A major focus of this project was wayfinding, as Hutchies sought to ensure that the precinct’s expansion would not compromise navigability. CV Media & Signage provided a range of illuminated and non-illuminated signs throughout the car park, catering to all visitors, including regular drivers, wheelchair users, and parents with prams. Within the shopping centre itself, directional signage was strategically installed across every floor, featuring aluminium panels with digitally printed, self-adhesive vinyl for clear visibility. Additionally, internally illuminated, wall-mounted custom mesh signs were placed to guide visitors seamlessly to key amenities, while custom steel and aluminium finger blade panels with computer-cut vinyl directed visitors to shops, car parks, and other destinations.

To maintain West Village’s cohesive vintage charm, CV Media & Signage designed bespoke tenancy signage for new stores, using premium fabricated materials to uphold the precinct’s high-quality standards. Near the entrance, a large-scale backlit flex face banner was installed, showcasing prominent tenants and drawing foot traffic into the centre.

This comprehensive signage solution ensures that West Village continues to be one of Brisbane’s most recognisable lifestyle precincts, blending functionality with visual appeal.
