As one of Australia’s most innovative retailers, Woolworths unveiled its first next generation store in Ascot, Queensland in 2018 dubbed ‘Woolworths 3.0’. Since this, Woolworths has unveiled numerous other concepts stores such as The Kitchen; a trial location for new innovative products; and Burwood Brickworks; the retailers most sustainable supermarket operating using 100% renewable energy.
As the primary signage supplier, CV Media & Signage have worked closely with Woolworths to deliver comprehensive prototype options to successfully achieve the client’s vision of a rustic marketplace feel for their new concept stores. Manufactured on site in Brisbane, the team fabricate customised lettering to be mounted on structurally engineered aluminium gantry framing.
The comprehensive range of signage CV Media & Signage have provided includes; traditional signwriting, fabricated 3D letters and logos, neon letters, price and credential boards, category signage, line marking, aisle descriptors, case stripping, fridge graphics, digital prints, poster acrylics and many more.
The impact of COVID-19 saw a surge in Click & Collect orders. CV Media & Signage have delivered over 300 contactless pick up sites for Woolworths, converting standard car park bays into oversized contactless pick up bays along with directional sign posts. Offering line marking in-house allowed the team to complete the initial rollout of 86 sites in just 3 weeks across NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA. Over 50 pick up destinations have also been completed for the brand. The new look signage has delivered a complete transformation for Woolworths.
