Mahindra, a leading automotive manufacturer, embarked on a new corporate identity to align with the launch of their SUV range. With the release of their new Corporate Identity, “The Twin Peaks of Mahindra,” they aimed to update the existing dealership branding. To kickstart this transformation, inauguration ceremonies were scheduled across multiple states and dealerships in June 2023. Mahindra turned to CV Media & Signage to deliver the desired results.
The scope of work encompassed site surveys, fascia and pylon design, internal signage, and story wall graphics. CV Media & Signage were tasked with designing a premium fascia option in line with Mahindra’s specifications and standards from India. The project was slated for an ongoing rollout across all Mahindra dealerships over the next 12 to 18 months.
The project presented unique challenges, including tight timelines and geographic spread. The CV Media & Signage team had to ensure that all sites were ready for the early June product launch and the coordination of installations across four locations, two in Brisbane, one in Adelaide, and one in Perth, required meticulous logistical planning and execution.
Another challenge involved designing the mould for the chromated logo and sourcing a reliable moulding partner capable of delivering the product within the specified timeframe and meeting the desired quality standard. CV Media & Signage collaborated with one of China’s largest moulding companies to produce various prototypes and designs remotely, ensuring a durable chromated finish suitable for the Australian climate.
To minimise wastage, the team employed innovative retrofitting techniques. Existing pylons were retrofitted by reusing the steel frame and base plate. CV Media & Signage designed a solution that bolted to the frame, eliminating the need for new footings or framework.
The CV Media & Signage team overcame any presented challenges through effective teamwork, collaboration, and efficient project management. The project team worked closely throughout the entire project to ensure a cohesive vision, approach and delivery of the new branding.
Mahindra chose to work with CV Media & Signage due to their ability to provide a comprehensive one-stop solution. CV Media & Signage offered services ranging from design development and value engineering to project management and installation, making them an ideal partner for Mahindra’s signage transformation project.
In conclusion, CV Media & Signage successfully delivered a signage transformation for Mahindra, helping them achieve their new corporate identity goals. Despite tight timelines, geographic challenges, and intricate design requirements, the team’s dedication, expertise, and comprehensive services ensured the successful execution of the project.
