To stay at the forefront of retail innovation, Vicinity Centres sought to enhance their customer experience through digital solutions, starting with their car parks. Incorporating digital technology in this area aligns with their commitment to providing a “better, easier, and more enjoyable” customer journey. Recognising that the customer’s experience begins with the car park, Vicinity Centres aimed to make a positive first impression through advanced digital service touchpoints.

The Project
CV Media & Signage has partnered with Vicinity Centres to deliver digital parking solutions across locations in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia. This includes installing outdoor digital kiosks, LED displays, and customised Automated Payment Machine (APM) displays. These solutions empower centres to engage visitors at multiple points in the parking journey. The outdoor digital kiosks function as flexible rate boards and provide customisable content for arriving guests, streamlining entry and exit while offering essential parking information. LED displays help visitors navigate and locate centres, while customised APM displays enhance the payment experience with video and audio guidance.
Each solution is managed through a cloud-based content management system (CMS), enabling real-time updates accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. This user-friendly CMS allows each centre to adapt content based on customer volumes, events, or traffic conditions. The digital infrastructure also offers marketing opportunities, enabling centres to highlight special offers and promotions to customers upon arrival. CV Media & Signage’s in-house creative team collaborated with the Myer Centre parking department to develop visually engaging, on-brand content that enhances customer engagement and brand alignment.
