Situated in the heart of the South Bank precinct, Flowstate is a creative pop-up renewal project for the community that has been fully programmed with circus, theatre, dance, visual installations, DJs, workshops and speakers. Open to locals and visitors, the space encourages a vast array of artistry taking place amongst stylish, contemporary design. The space incorporates a pavilion with full audio-visual capabilities, specifically designed to facilitate cultural activations and events. Flowstate was conceived and facilitated by South Bank Corporation who are the development and management authority for Brisbane’s most iconic riverfront destination.

CV Media & Signage was contracted by South Bank Corporation to deliver branded static custom signs for the interim use precinct. With a large emphasis placed on brand identity, South Bank wanted to ensure it was a feature of the area and that the 3D design was an accurate and evocative execution of the 2D design.

The team worked closely with Flowstate’s Creative Director and design team to ensure all elements of the signs embodied Flowstate’s aesthetic. The customised designer plinth was fabricated in-house at our Hendra facility, including internal illumination and was wired and installed on site by our installation team. The design was 10mm steel plate cut and welded to replicate the I-beams from the original portal frame – a key design element emphasised by the architects.

The team at South Bank Corporation was extremely pleased with the final signage delivered by the team.
