To remain progressive in the retail space, Vicinity Centres were looking to explore digital opportunities to enhance their overall customer service offering. Employing digital into their car parks was a natural evolution for Vicinity Centres, ensuring their experience and brand promise of ‘Better, easier and more enjoyable’ was met. Ensuring their customers are having a good service experience from the first brand touch point (the car park) has been essential for the group.
CV Media & Signage has implemented digital parking solutions into a selection of Vicinity Centre’s locations across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. The outdoor digital kiosks, LED displays and customised APM displays provide the centres with numerous avenues to engage with visitors. Outdoor digital kiosks provide a flexible rate board for each of the facilities along with the ability to customise content delivered to customers on arrival. The kiosks are successful in ensuring the ease of entry and exit for centre customers and providing all necessary parking information. LED displays assist in highlighting centre locations whilst customised APM displays guide customers through the payment process with video and audio content.
Each solution is managed via a cloud-based content management system, allowing updates to be made in real time and from any location with internet access. The system is user friendly and allows each centre to make changes and updates in accordance with customer numbers and other external impacts, i.e. events and traffic. The digital capabilities also provide the option to deliver marketing content for centres to advertise special offers and promotions to their customers, bringing it to the front of mind upon entry. CV Media & Signage’s in-house creative team also provide the Myer Centre parking department with content services to ensure artwork is engaging, informative and remains on brand.
