Australian Outdoor Sign Company (AOSCo) was founded in 2018 to provide maximum exposure for advertisers on a premium digital billboard in strategic high impact locations. Boasting the ability for their signs to be seen by up to 104,000 eyes a day, AOSCo is committed to delivering high resolution advertisements for their clients whilst offering flexible and exclusive packages.
Digital outdoor is one of the fastest growing forms of outdoor advertising in Australia. A recent study showed that large format advertising delivers 15 times greater neuro impact than small format advertising and digital delivers 40% greater neuro impact than static. For advertisers, this demonstrates that digital billboards are more likely to be seen, remembered and have impact on their audience.
CV Media & Signage were engaged by AOSCo to design, engineer, manufacture and install the next digital billboard for their network. Located in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane, the 7-metre-wide and 12-metre-tall digital billboard is the only one of its kind in the area with an average of 57,000 vehicles travelling on the road each day. The P6 LED screen within the billboard is 6-metre-wide and 8-metre high providing high resolution, fantastic exposure for brands.
The CV Media & Signage manufacturing team built and delivered the footings and structure of the billboard in-house. Manufacture was completed within 6 weeks from delivery of materials to installation. The footing excavation and form work was completed over a two-day period with the billboard now standing on a 4-metre pier footing 1-metre in diameter. Due to the size of the structure, assembly was required to be done at night time and on site as it was broken into 4 sections for transport.
Our cloud-based content management system allows AOSCo to offer advertisers the capability to instantly update content allowing for dynamic messaging based on real-time information such as weather and traffic. The project was delivered in line with AOSCo’s vision and has now become a prominent feature in the area.
